Who is the sale open to?
Any registered Australian Stock Horse (ASH) including yearlings. Yearlings are to be led through the sale ring, and all other horses are to be ridden.
The Swan Cup sale is an approved ASH sale.
How will the sale work?
The sale will be in-person at the Inverell Polocrosse grounds, with online bidding available through Auctions Plus. Elders Inverell are the selling agents supported by auctioneer Scott Cooper.
Pre-works for the sale will be Friday 27 March 2026 (3pm TBC)
The sale will run on Saturday 28 March 2026 (5pm TBC)
How do I bid?
To bid live you will need to attend the sale at the Inverell Polocrosse Grounds and register with our agents, – Elders Inverell.
To bid online, you will need to register with Auctions Plus prior to the sale. Visit www.auctionsplus.com.au, or contact Elders Inverell on 02 6721 7700.
How can I play in the 2026 Swan Cup Incentive Polocrosse Competition?
How can I play in the 2026 Swan Cup Incentive Polocrosse Competition?
If you purchased a horse out of the 2021,2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025 Swan Cup sale, that horse will have lifetime eligibility to compete in the Swan Cup Polocrosse competition. The rider needs to be aged 17 years and older and the competition is open to both men and women.
In the 2026 incentive competition, there must be 3 incentive horses in each team (in the same section). The remaining horses must all be registered Australian Stock Horses.
